Super Charge your Morning!

Struggling to get up in the morning? You definitely aren’t alone there. Here is a morning routine that sets you up for success and a fulfilling day.

The night before- Plan out how you want your day to look the next day. Have everything organised for your day (make your lunch, have work materials ready etc.). it is important that you aren’t rushed or stressed in the morning so being prepared is key. I find setting a goal for the day and scheduling in something pleasant that you enjoy doing gets you motivated to jump out of bed!

Alarm away from the bed- If you’re like me I hit the snooze button about 5 times a morning. By moving the alarm from the bedroom, you are forcing yourself to get up and turn it off. This gets you up and ready to attack the day. The best places I find work are the kitchen and bathroom.

Brush those teeth- A simple task to set up your day and tick your first box of productivity. If you prefer, making the bed and having a stretch can be a good substitute.

Drink some water- A glass of water in the morning hydrates the body and starts your metabolism for the day. It will get all of your body systems up and running.

Workout clothes-Have your workout clothes out from your night before preparation and get changed straight into them. This motivates you to start a morning workout. You could also go to the extreme of sleeping in your workout clothes to force you into exercise. Morning exercise sets you up to be in peak mental, emotional and mental state for the day.
